Getting Around: Public transport in South Africa is not great. Accordingly, we recommend that you hire a car while travelling around the country
Weather September is spring in South Africa but this area has a temperate climate all year round (winter is not dis-similar to an English summer!). South Africa is a big country with a varied climate. The Cape, for example, has a Mediterranean climate with winter rainfall, whereas this area in the North East is more tropical with summer rainfall.
Malaria White River is not subject to Malaria but anti-malaria is recommended for the Kruger and surrounding game areas and Mozambique but please obtain your own advice on this subject as it can vary.
Or head off to Mozambique for beautiful beaches and a different adventure at ear Tofo not far from Inhambane!.......See web sites for Barra Lodge or stay at Casa Barry in Tofo.
